The citron is a large fragrant citrus fruit with a thick rind, and the scent is in between a lemon and lime combined with an herbal, leafy note. Vitamin A in citron protects the skin from bacteria and other microbes responsible for acne. An abundance of vitamin C also helps in reducing the swelling that makes the appearance of the acne small.
